Terms of Use

Last updated 6 November 2026

Using the app

By using Scotland Golf Passport you agree to these terms. The app is provided by Stephen Munro for golfers tracking their way through Scotland's Top 100 courses: stamps, scorecards, a map, a trip planner, achievements and a leaderboard.

Your account

  • Keep your password to yourself and tell us straight away if you think someone else has it.
  • One person per account. Don't share logins.
  • You are responsible for what is done through your account, including stamps, scores and photos.
  • You can ask for your account and its data to be deleted at any time.

The course data

  • The ranking of 1 to 100 follows Golf World Scotland's Top 100 (2025). It is a published list, not our opinion, and it changes from year to year.
  • Club websites, phone numbers, visitor access lines and any hole-by-hole scorecards are copied from the club's own pages or other public sources. They can be wrong or out of date.
  • Where a course has no verified scorecard, the app says so rather than inventing par, yardage or stroke index.
  • Always confirm access, fees and the card with the club before you travel. The app is a record of your round, not a booking or a guarantee.

Trip planner and stays

Itineraries are written by an AI model from the courses in your passport. They are suggestions only: distances, driving times, opening times and availability are not checked. Stay links go to Booking.com and carry an affiliate ID, so a commission may be paid to the app if you book. Prices and rooms are Booking.com's to honour, not ours.

Your scores and photos

You keep everything you upload. You are telling us that you took the photo or have the right to use it, and that it is not someone else's private material. You give the app permission to store and display it to you, and to back it up to your account, so your passport works on any device you sign in on.

Fair use

  • Don't copy, scrape or resell the course data or the app itself.
  • Don't upload unlawful, abusive or infringing material.
  • Don't fake stamps, scores or leaderboard positions, or try to break the app's access rules.
  • We can suspend an account that abuses the service.

No warranty, limited liability

The app is provided as it is, without warranty. It is a hobby-grade tracking tool: use it at your own risk. We are not liable for losses arising from its use, including wrong course information, a round recorded incorrectly, or a trip that did not work out. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Changes

The app may change or stop. If these terms change, the "last updated" date changes and continued use means you accept them.
